Eels' reveal their pain relief secret

Tue 29/09/09

The pressure is on for the Parramatta Eels rugby league stars ahead of this weekend’s grand final, but the pain is under control.

If you’ve ever wondered how elite athletes recover from injury so quickly, we’ve found one of their secrets in the Eels’ dressing shed.

The boys claim a spray/cream called PainAway has seen them returning to the field quicker than expected.

Jarryd Hayne says it helps him to recover and feel fresh.

“I've had chronic back pain for a long time with the way I run and arch my back. I used to see the chiro twice a week and now I see him once a fortnight,” he says.

Luke Burt says it literally helped fix pain in his backside a few weeks ago.

“It was a fair chance I wasn't going to play on the weekend and after using [PainAway] all week and plenty of it. it got me back on the park next week,” he says.

What is PainAway?
PainAway is an all-natural, herbal-based anti-inflammatory formula in the form of a topical spray or cream (ie: you put it on your skin) that assists with temporary relief of arthritic conditions and muscle pain. It is fully Australian owned and produced. It also contains emu oil, which reduces inflammation and repairs skin tissue.

How does it work?
Painaway draws fresh blood to the area and relaxes the muscles. It also promises to help with circulation and swelling, bruising and arthritis. It’s overall anti-inflammatory effect may restore flexibility to stiff and painful joints.
